Mission: When Tunnels To Towers was canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, Fire Fighter Ken Blanton bumped into Brandi Giardini (Treasure Coast Jeep Club/Giardini Construction) in passing. He expressed that, He still wanted to follow through with honoring the fallen because it was a tradition that shouldn’t be broken.” Knowing that we still had a weekly rucking program to help with PTSD, physical health, and mental health.


They reached out to #DoYouGiveARuck? and invited us to follow this honored tradition. Ken Blanton was lead on the organization of the event as #DoYouGiveARuck? acted as a supporting element during this event. Coolers, waters, fruits, and other needs were provided by the above-mentioned businesses that donated supplies towards this event.

Businesses: Waldo’s Bar and Grill/ Filthy’s Fine Cocktails And Beer

Mission: To feed over 125 veterans and their families during financial constraints and restrictions by delivering personal meals to uplift the community's spirit. Also, feeding homeless veterans as well as the Vero Beach Police Department. Funding was provided by Wes’ Backyard BBQ and the Garcia family. Mission was carried out and executed by Treasure Coast Jeep Club and #DYGAR?. Discounted meals provided by Waldos’ Bar and Grille.

Compassionate Care

Vero Beach, FL


Organizations: Indian River County Sheriff Department, TCCC, #DYGAR?

Supporting Element: #DoYouGiveARuck?, IRCS 

Mission: To distribute supplies to the impoverished communities in Vero Beach during Covid-19. Treasure Coast Compassionate Care met #DoYouGiveARuck? and other various volunteers to pass out supplies via car to be picked up at a designated locations to provide relief to local communities.




Organizations: #DYGAR?, NextGen Veterans, Veterans Council Of Indian River County, Vietnam Veterans Of IRC, Treasure Coast Jeep Club

Mission: Deliver and Feed over 125 veterans and their families during the start of COVID-19 by delivering meals prepared by Wes’ Backyard BBQ with the assistance from the Treasure Coast Jeep Club. Later in the event, the Garcia family donated $1,400.00 to the #DoYouGiveARuck? organization, which was subsequently used to feed another 125 veterans on a later date.

#DoYouGiveARuck? members rucked from Sebastian City Hall to Vero Beach City hall with over 20 pounds of gear for over 20 miles to raise awareness for suicide awareness in Indian River County. Dagwoods Subs located in Vero Beach supplied our ruckers with meals at the halfway point.
